Before Christmas, we came together to do a little more good 🎄
The collected gifts were sent to children in the eastern regions — as a symbol of support, love, and hope.
We believe these moments brought bright emotions to the children and reminded them: they are not alone 🤍

Thanksgiving Charity Fair
In our educational space “My Horizons,” we not only learn and grow but also come together for meaningful charitable causes. The fair became an expression of our gratitude and support for Ukrainian defenders who safeguard our peace and security every day. Students, teachers, and parents all joined the initiative, demonstrating care and willingness to help.
Thanks to our collective efforts, we raised funds for the soldiers of the 79th Brigade to purchase tires for evacuation vehicles. This support is an important contribution to saving the lives and health of our military personnel.
The fair became an example of active civic engagement, inspiring us to create change and support those who need it most.
Annual Christmas Charity Performance
This is more than a tradition. It is a story we live through together every year.
This time, students of all ages — from the youngest to the oldest — came together on stage, each bringing their own role, sincerity, and faith.
The joint efforts of students, teachers, and parents created a special Christmas atmosphere — warm, genuine, and filled with light.
The performance “The Path of Light” reminded us that even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference.
Thanks to your support, we raised funds and donated them to:
✨ 100,000 UAH — for a buggy vehicle for the military, to improve mobility and evacuation
✨ 10,000 UAH — to the NGO “Save Life International”
✨ 2,000 UAH — to military unit A3715 for the purchase of Starlink to ensure stable communication
✨ 10,000 UAH — to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine
✨ 10,000 UAH — for car parts for the Kupiansk direction
✨ 3,400 UAH — contributed to aid efforts in the Chornobaivka direction
✨ 10,000 UAH — contributed to fundraising for a child’s surgery
During the Christmas holidays, we continue doing good together.
Together, we accomplish great things.
Thank you for being with us!
We continue to support those who need it most.
Semmering, Austria
At the beginning of spring, middle school students had a wonderful opportunity to visit the Austrian town of Semmering — a true fairy tale среди mountains, fresh air, and breathtaking views!
The children spent their time actively: they went on interesting excursions, explored the culture and nature of Austria, walked a lot, and discovered new places. Each day was filled with vivid impressions, joy, and new knowledge 🌿
It is especially valuable to see how the children build friendships, support one another, and learn to be independent far from home.
In addition to отдых, they also dedicated time to learning — every day the students had English classes. In a relaxed atmosphere, they practiced speaking English, learned new words, and became more confident in communication. It is a great opportunity to combine pleasure with usefulness!
Educational Trip to Austria
“My Horizons” Lyceum is a place where learning goes beyond the classroom. Here, knowledge is combined with real-life experience: travel, projects, meetings, and participation in joint initiatives. Children see how what they learn in lessons works in real life, which increases their motivation and interest.
Educational trips to Austria hold a special place. In a new country, students encounter a different language, culture, and school environment, try themselves in unfamiliar situations, and gradually learn independence. They return home with the feeling: “I can do more than I thought.”
Such international programs become a bridge for children between today’s school life and the adult world. After these trips, dreams of studying abroad or pursuing an international career no longer seem distant, but become real goals they can steadily work toward together with “My Horizons” Lyceum.
Cambridge English Qualifications. Warsaw
On June 21, 2025, in Warsaw (Poland), students of class 5-I (Oleksandra Burkovska, Elina Zarva, Vira Turovets, and Sofia Paziuk) successfully confirmed their A2 level by passing the A2 Flyers exam for children under 12. Words cannot express the joy that filled their hearts when they realized they could achieve success through hard work. Throughout the entire school year, they prepared diligently, completed numerous exercises, and carefully analyzed their progress.
Of course, we are not stopping at this stage. The students are ready to move forward, so since September they have continued preparing for the next level. Together with their teacher, Yuliia Hryhorivna Shpak, the 6th-grade students are becoming familiar with the structure of the A2 Key for Schools exam, mastering the necessary vocabulary and grammar structures to conquer a new milestone in learning English.
Pumpkin Field. Class 7-I
The students of class 7-I traveled to Chernivtsi to visit a pumpkin field — even despite the rain, these were truly wonderful autumn days. All around were pumpkins, warm coffee, and cozy lanterns creating a special atmosphere. They brought back lovely photos and even warmer memories from this trip.
The Carpathians. Class 7-A
This autumn, the students of class 7-A went on an unforgettable trip to the picturesque Carpathian Mountains. The children immersed themselves in the atmosphere of traditions at “Hutsul Land,” visited the fairy-tale world of “Gedzio Park,” and fully enjoyed peaceful walks along mountain trails. Shared excursions and evenings by the campfire brought the group even closer, leaving bright memories in their hearts.
Romania. Transylvania
The students of class 6-I, together with their homeroom teacher, made a small dream come true — they went on a trip to Romania. So many emotions, discoveries, and happy smiles!
They have already traveled through so many corners of our Ukraine 💙💛, and now they have taken a step further 🌍
Their first trip abroad became a real adventure for the lyceum students: a new language, a different culture, fascinating stories, and impressions rated 100 out of 10! Laughter, selfies, and memories we will cherish for a long time.
And this is only the beginning! There are many more journeys, knowledge, emotions, and unforgettable moments ahead.
Scientific events
High school students had the honor of participating in the XVI All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the important issues of the development of the Ukrainian language and national identity in the context of globalization. This event became a platform for discussing strategies for preserving and developing the Ukrainian language, which is key to maintaining Ukraine’s cultural and identity authenticity in the international arena.
The conference brought together renowned scholars, linguists, educators, students and other experts who shared their research and opinions on the impact of globalization on the language situation in Ukraine. The discussions covered a wide range of issues, from language policy and legislation to innovative approaches to language teaching and the preservation of regional dialects.
Students of our lyceum participated in the discussions by presenting their papers that highlighted the current challenges and opportunities for the language in the context of modern globalization processes. Particular attention was paid to the importance of educational programs aimed at improving the language competence of young people, which is crucial for the future development of the Ukrainian language.
