This year’s Christmas performance at the My Horizons Lyceum not only brought smiles and fun to the audience, but also played an important role in raising funds for charity. Traditionally, this performance has become a symbol of the lyceum’s common good and commitment to Christian values.
This year, the Snow White fairy tale chosen for the performance was not only a source of great pleasure for the audience, but also increased the amount of money raised for charity. The performance raised an extremely impressive amount of UAH 87212 and USD 100. These funds were earmarked to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine in their needs and to help those in need of assistance and support.
It is worth noting that both students and teachers of the school took part in the performance. The idea of joint creativity and charity has become a real symbol of unity and mutual support. The result of dozens of rehearsals was a bright performance in which goodness wins!
The funds raised were used to purchase necessary equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including a computer and a thermal imaging device. In addition, part of the funds was used for the treatment of the father of one of the students, where UAH 20,000 became an important contribution to help. The school community also contributed to fundraising for medical needs, the purchase of heating pads and the purchase of materials for weaving nets.
