Every year, My Horizons Lyceum in Khmelnytskyi hosts various charity events that are an integral part of our school community. Every year, our school organizes a charity fair on Thanksgiving Day, which raises funds to support our military. These funds are used to purchase necessary equipment or materials for military brigades.
The annual Christmas performance is also a charity event that raises funds for similar needs. In addition, our lyceum hosts traditional charity events, such as the Easter basket, where students bring sweets and other necessary items to be donated to a nursing home or an orphanage, depending on the need.
Additionally, we raised funds for the needs of an animal shelter on Animal Protection Day. All these charitable initiatives are organized in accordance with the thematic weeks and current social needs. This year, our school actively helped parents of students by purchasing necessary items such as heating pads and car tires.
All of these activities demonstrate our commitment to supporting the community and fostering responsible citizens who are ready to help in difficult situations and make a difference in the world around them.
