This year, the My Horizons Lyceum has launched a course to prepare for the Cambridge Young Learners Test (Cambridge YLT) A1 Movers exam. Students in grades 3-5 work diligently twice a week after school to improve their speaking skills. In the classroom, children learn to:
- understand basic instructions;
- participate in dialogic communication;
- recognise the speech of native speakers through listening tasks;
- work with texts.
Why choose the A1 Movers exam?

- This is an exam after which each child receives a certificate to celebrate their achievements.
- The exam tasks are based on realistic situations from everyday life.
- The tasks are presented in both British and American English.
What benefits will a child get after completing this learning path?
- A specific goal appears, which motivates them to work harder at their studies.
- Parents always know what level of English their child is at.
- The development of language skills is harmonious, covering all aspects — from reading to speaking practice.
- Successful completion of the exam increases self-confidence.
- The certificate is recognised worldwide and has no expiry date.
- The Cambridge English certificate will prepare your child for an international environment where knowledge of English is essential for success in various spheres of life.
Classes are taught by a certified teacher (TKT Module 1) — Yulia Shpak.
