Scientific events

High school students had the honor of participating in the XVI All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the important issues of the development of the Ukrainian language and national identity in the context of globalization. This event became a platform for discussing strategies for preserving and developing the Ukrainian language, which is key to maintaining Ukraine’s cultural and identity authenticity in the international arena.
The conference brought together renowned scholars, linguists, educators, students and other experts who shared their research and opinions on the impact of globalization on the language situation in Ukraine. The discussions covered a wide range of issues, from language policy and legislation to innovative approaches to language teaching and the preservation of regional dialects.
Students of our lyceum participated in the discussions by presenting their papers that highlighted the current challenges and opportunities for the language in the context of modern globalization processes. Particular attention was paid to the importance of educational programs aimed at improving the language competence of young people, which is crucial for the future development of the Ukrainian language.

Greenhouses

During the biology lesson, our students had the opportunity to attend a study tour to the unique greenhouse farm of the vocational school No. 11. This farm is a landmark because it uses advanced Dutch technology to grow cucumbers, which is currently the only such project in Ukraine.
The lyceum students had a great opportunity to study the specifics of the technology and learn about the cultivation of cucumber varieties Yani and Tchaikovsky. With more than 1,100 plants, the students were able to immerse themselves in all the nuances of modern agricultural production, from sowing to fruit care.
In addition to theoretical knowledge, the students also gained practical experience – they had the opportunity to taste freshly picked cucumbers. These cucumbers were grown without the use of harmful chemicals, which made their taste especially pleasant and crispy.
This excursion not only expanded the students’ knowledge of modern agricultural production methods, but also contributed to the formation of environmental awareness and understanding of the importance of sustainable development. It reminded everyone of the value of natural products and the importance of choosing a healthy diet.

Gufi-Center

During Eco Week, students of our lyceum visited an incredibly interesting space – the Gufi-Center.
The mission of this educational center is to teach children how to sort garbage properly.
Here, every child will understand what garbage is, why it needs to be sorted, how it is recycled, and how to compost organic waste on their own.
The construction of a waste recycling complex will not have the desired effect unless we change our behavior and outlook.
